Problem is there is always a pattern with these villains. Oda uses someone random like a hypertool to hype them on their introduction.

Atlas and Sentomaru were the hypertool for Lucci, Kizaru had Sentomaru and Bonney... Saturn had the lower ranks marines and Sanji....

The problem again was Oda introducing 4 more villains at the same time, so there was no time for hypetools anymore. Dorry, Brogy and the giants were the perfect options but he decided to make Dorry and Brogy Yonko level

Zoro's record in this arc :

• Couldn't dominate nor beat Kaku
• Couldn't beat nor damage S-Hawk
• Couldn't KO nerfed Luffy even with Jinbei help in the end
• Couldn't do a thing to Nesujuro and now running for his life. Atlas had to bail him put for failing to keep Nesujuro away

Haha, the Zoro slanderers are out in full swing this morning. Just know this

- Kaku confirmed Zoro vs Seraphim
- Mars confirmed Zoro defeating Lucci
- Nasjuro confirmed Zoros level in direct clash

Just wait a bit and then look at new bounties and overall reaction to what Zoro did. The feats are extraordinary to say the least.

I suspect Sanji fans will have to reckon with Robin having a higher bounty again, putting Sanji at #5. And that's not even counting Bonney, if Oda names her a Strawhat and gives her an appropriate bounty for her new Pacifista control abaility.

Yep I really like the Vegapunks as a whole, only the main Vegapunk I can see why some don't like as a character.

Also at least Oda actually decided to kill most of them off in the same arc they were introduced.

Clovver’s flashback to bring up his random brother and the D name is because this brother is Robin’s dad ie Robin is a D.

If he was “killed” by Akainu then he’s also the man marked by flames.

Readers' fault especially children like @Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier for underestimating Lucci greatly. Thinking he is just another old opponent that pre TS Luffy already beat. Like Bellamy in Dressrosa.
While actually, Bellamy was one shotted in Jaya. But Lucci owned both Luffy and Zoro together in Water 7, nobody else to this date not even Kaido or Gorosei could body Luffy and Zoro together 1 vs 2 in pure brawl match. Lucci was the reason Luffy's gears existed.

Nothing to do with hypetool in their debut

Kizaru faced bandaged Sentomaru but couldn't one shot him. Lucci defeated healthy Sentomaru in single hit.
Saturn can't defeat Fodder Hats and got stalled by Brook and Chopper. Lucci one shotted Sentomaru, Atlas and Stussy.
Awakened Nusjuro can't one shot Atlas and can't break free from crippled Atlas. Non awakened Lucci one shotted her.
