Nah this makes no sense, because we saw it on screen. Offscreening it means not showing the VA taking and reacting to the CoC blast, you can clearly see the CoC streaks reaching them and knocking those around them out.

It was on screen. That's the issue. If Oda was gonna offscreen it, he should have just offscreened it. Now he showed them taking it without problem on screen, and randomly KO offscreen. It's not a natural transition at all, least he could have shown is them struggling to stay conscious or something.

A blank spot of an hour give or take for three vegapunks and also at identical timeframe is pretty suspicious.

Thinking back I think it's more like a couple of days of memory. Why the hell did the three Vegapunks delete their memories in the first place if York didn't notice shit for days. This shit is confusing asf.

I don't think they deleted days worth of memories. Just targeted the memories about York, and the plan to expose the Void Century. That was the biggest reason they deleted their memories to begin with. It held all the information about Vegapunk's message being triggered after his death, and where the message was being broadcast from. That's the main reason they needed those memories gone, cause it would have ruined everything in the event of Vegapunk dying. York finding anything suspicious doesn't mean shit in comparison to that.

They just withstood it longer than the fodder, and were able to comment on it, before passing out. It's not like it was prolonged or dragged out. The fodder drop. They comment, then next chapter we see them out cold as well. As Vice Admirals they should have much higher will than those foot soldiers to where they don't drop as fast when it comes to CoC.
