Why would he be exhausted after using gear 5 for one attack? That’s never been the case
Let him fight for 5-10 minutes and we’ll see the wrinkly ballsack again

One logical explanation I can give is that Luffy is using G5 very often to master the form but knowing Oda it may not be even in his mind.....
