King is not physically stronger. Doffy was able to clash against Fujitora. He was able to clash against G4 with his awakening. Both feats scale above any of King's strength feat.

Even then Doffy's strings didn't even move when Fuji pulled a meteor on them. King's explosion isn't doing shit
