As for Jinbe he should the with luffy and the sun team. Also so if luffy leaves to do something they still got 1 of the main fighter with them

The Shandora planted trees to catch the souls of their dead after the void century. Showing both the connection of trees as conduits of souls and showing a change in behavior once the void century happened.

Vegapunk mentions that the origins of devil fruits are the desires of mankind made manifest. And we know that it takes the death a devil fruit eater to respawn it. Vegapunk also studies the soul as a tangential object, and remakes that devil fruits have wills of their own.
I think that devil fruits are the inherited will made manifest of the dreams of the dead, through the conduit of the sunlight tree Eve. Imu built Pangea castle above the fruiting branches of the sunlight tree eve to control new devil fruits - either by only handing them out to select people OR by harming eve so that it can no longer fruit.
Destroying the world government and freeing Eve will then allow the people of the world to fruit fantastical dreams again after their deaths. But to do so Eve will have to be freed from the redline destroying fishman island in the process.

What do you think of the theory that in Elbaph time passes more slowly,and thats why you cant stay too long? This theory adds the possibility that the Strawhats go back to the outside world after the arc,in a world where in the meanwhile Teach became the Pirate King and must be defeated,or the world is flooding and that must be stopped. Or both things happened in the meanwhile.
