Anyway, as lot of people here have said, HK's existence really fits poorly into the existing history of the manga.
CP-0 was already a stretch back then, but HK's are really on another level.

Weren't there for FT and to hunt down the sun pirates, weren't there when Revs attacked literal Marijoa, weren't there when a CD was attacked (and in retrospect, it made much more sense for HKs to come when a normal CD is under attack; not an Admiral. An Admiral should come when a Gorosei is under attack). And so on.

With these kind of things you can really feel the luck of foresight.

Van Augur can teleport, he didn't have that ability when Akainu was about to pull up.
Akainu was also lucky that this happened pre time skip, current snipers can destroy ships with one bullet. :jordanmf:

You fail to see that the Gorosei aren't build for strength like Kaido but for survivability, probably so Oda can play into a sense of immortality that outlasts all adversaries as a way to add into their position of power as the Gorosei.

We saw Luffy in Nika do things to Saturn and all of them basically did nothing in the long run.

Whether you like it or not, whether you find it entertaining as a power or not, being broken in regen, toughness and overall survivability that it looks like nothing can kill you except when Imu wills it, that still is a massive power and one currently nobody has any way to counter or maybe even truly damage them.

But they didn´t teleport off the island or instantly. They stopped to discuss their captain with Saturn. He was just to slow to act, like he is in every single situation in the arc. Don´t blame me, Oda is the one who enjoys humiliating the celestial dragons in every scene they are in. Oda decided to draw that scene because even lower ranking member Blackbeard pirates don´t fear the Gorosei for even a second lmfao. Just like Franky and Kuma don´t.

This is a great point. I know people assumed it was Saturn and rightfully so with his portrayal but Oda may deliver it as a bigger shock when we see someone with the face of Shanks being not just a kidnapper but a rapist. He's essentially create something like the Devil and Angel kind of trope. Where one is true good hearted man but steps up when he has to and the other is an actual demon in the most unapologetic way possible.

Thats probably the true reason Oda hid who it is. Now we got Shamrock, Saturn seems too easy as the one who did it.

Sure, but even with the hax it doesn´t really matter if you aren´t an effective fighter, and the Gorosei simply aren´t. That´s why the SH were able to flee all five of them. Of course, you can´t blame them, they sit in their room all day discussing world affairs, not fighting. But that´s just the reality of the situation

Also, I am like 99 percent sure the Gorosei have some sort of weakness that will make the invincibility seem like a joke, just like logias pre time skip

Shanks probably has 3 siblings : Shamrock, Shampaper, Shamsmith

Singe Shanks is tied to number 4...he's probably the youngest

Tbf we knew it wasn’t Saturn in egghead but yeah shamrock like the rest of the celestial dragons probably isn’t the nicest person
