Holy Knights don't seem to operate on the same tier as CDs like Charloss. HKs operate under direct supervision of Gorosei and Imu, not CDs. That's on them not the HKs

Again, it doesn´t matter what their authority is. An Admiral is not on the holy land 24/7. Fuji only went because of the warlord thing and Greenbull only went to kick him out. When a country is invaded, it would only make sense for the knights to step up. The Holy Knights were unable to do any such thing and thousands of slaves were freed. That´s just the facts in the story. If you think that Garling would be happy that a fishman humiliated the celestials like that and is fine with that, OK.
