When it comes to king he’s gonna be lucky to be relevant enough to become yamatos subordinate. With Yamato going through wano they’re definitely going to recruit beast pirates. Similar to oden recruiting samurai his first time through wano
Old theory of katakuri, Yamato, and weevil gathering remnants of their old crews aka the big mom, beast, and whitebeard pirates. Them all becoming allies or subordinates to luffy

When did I say Katakuri beats King? I have King as stronger. I’m mocking how you pretend he’s some Yonko level threat. Plus it’s basic narrative. There’s no reason why there should be such a big gap between the YC1’s of two Yonkos despite there being a deadlock. King can’t tag Katakuri without flames off and Katakuri can definitely get some good attacks on him
That King could clash swords with KoH before the last attack without his sword being cut in half already implies he had very strong CoA.
There are levels to CoA strength beyond just "advanced or not advanced", as Katakuri himself demonstrated against Luffy.
He also survived two aCoC slashes from Zoro flames off, which hypes a lot his flame off durability, while his speed in that mode allows him to disappear from Zoro's sight, which is more impressive than disappearing from slowpoke Queen's sight, a character who actually has no noteworthy haki.
Featwise Katakuri is below King in all but CoO.

Luffy promised to Katakuri that he will return to WCI and liberate it. I think this liberation won't be from Big Meme, but from Blackbeard's takeover.
King, on the other hand, has to witness the return of Nika and (maybe) see what his lineage was used for with the Seraphim.
I expect both of them to still have at least a couple of memorable panels before EOS.

It's likely that Katakuri will reunite with Luffy when they're heading to Hachinosu. Pudding has been captured, and they probably know that they can't rescue her alone. After that, if Big Mom is still dead, Katakuri could become captain of the Charlotte Pirates and join the Grand Fleet. Now Weevil is likely to be rescued from prison by the Cross Guild. If he escapes on his own, I doubt Oda would leave any serious consequences for him, and that would be a big L for Shikki. Marco will probably use Whitebeard's inheritance to hire the Cross Guild. Weevil and Doflamingo could join the Cross Guild.
