It's not about it being "a requisite" as in a checkbox, it's about people who have it getting a massive boost, which is the only thing established about it. By the time they get it, they all have great CoA mastery, so it adds up above someone who just has good CoA.

This is like saying "having strong Ki or haki being a requisite to be stronger than those who don't is shit".
