Imo the safest bet is to secure something vital for the WG, just like he was supposed to do here. But this new thing is probably more important if they need him in particular.

My guesses are:
- Secure Shirahoshi (the WG got wind she's Posaidon)
- Secure Vivi (the WG found out where Morgans is)

The Gorosei need to handle the Revolutionary Army. Now that Dragons location was confirmed thanks to Sabo calling them at Lulusia, they have been amassing strength to prepare the assault.

Same reason Saturn was sent to Egghead to secure the 4 seraphim which just arrived.

Garling and Shamrock are going to lead an assault on Momoiro island along with the seraphim to destroy the Revolutionary Army

Mentally nerfed Kizaru easily handled G5 and Sanji while Old Rayleigh could push normal kizaru to the point of not let him interfere with the Strawhats.

Gaban performance is way below that, literally. I expected him to be on the same calibeer of the one stalling a serious Kizaru and scaring a yonko.

Not even clashing a bit with G5 and zoro, literally just making fun of base start of arc luffy (the same who was clowened by fodders) is genuinely unimpressive in my eyes.

How are you all hyping this? I'd understand if at least this was coc luffy having a serious skysplit coc clash with gaban, but we literally got nothing.

Shamrock is also gonna go away, and of course I don't expect gaban to beat Loki actually might be his hype tool.

I am disappointed. Ray got way better respect and portray, Oda would never draw Ray be like that and I am certain based on how Oda made gaban behave that we will see a shocked, tearing, gaban moving his arms saying they can stop fighting when he sees G5 and Zoro so that's a big aura lass if that's the case.

This is not a serious encounter, it's not a life or death situation. The only thing we can conclude from this is that Gear 5 Luffy with Zoro is too much for Gaban, which is obvious. Why continue the fight when the outcome is known, Gaban got the information he needed, Luffy is worthy of the key. It could also be that he stopped because of the HK's arrival. You're jumping the gun here and are going to realize that once Oda has Gaban show more of his strength in future chapters.
