what’s there to gain by raging war with Kaido if civilians will die? The whole point of the raid was exactly to avoid that

Funny thing is a concept which has been central to one piece from the beginning "balance of power" is also the concept which gets overlooked the most.


People are guided by their dreams and goals in one piece.

WG goal is to prevent anyone from getting one piece so they are basically letting yonkous exist despite having strength to wipe anyone out


Yonkous goals aren't there just to become PK. They have individual dreams as well like WB to have family, BM to have all races and they clearly respect each other strengths to avoid messing with one another.

Don't know why people even think for real that WB should have come to help Oden against Kaido.....


It was oden's problem. And, if he didn't feel like taking help then it's his decision again. No one is bound to come to his aid.

Drunken mode is not Kaido's absolute high point. He was at end dominating G5 luffy when using death destroyer out of drunken mode.

Death destroyer is Kaido's strongest attack which is done out of drunken mode.

Let me explain for the Zoro fans who are trying hard to downplay Luffy. Gaban could see into the future, where Luffy in Gear 5 would one-shot him, so he chose to give up beforehand. In his base form, Luffy wasn’t even using Haki because he respects the elderly and doesn’t see them as enemies.

Zoro fans will seize any opportunity to hype Zoro, even when Nami has defeated Luffy multiple times. But let’s be clear, this wasn’t a real fight. Gaban simply realized how strong Luffy was and decided to stop before things escalated.

Zoro doesn’t yet understand just how powerful Luffy is, especially in Gear 5. It’s only natural for Zoro to step in and help his captain when a random fodder is trying too hard.

Its obvious. Kaido's absolute strongest was against G5 luffy at the end when using death destroyer which was done out of drunken mode.
