Because he really felts like an invincible and terrifying threat. Something that Oda has never been able of reproducing or willing to do it because he didn't pull the same effort into next antagonists, with him ridiculing them too much or putting too much plot armor protecting the Straw Hats that killed all sense of stakes or danger.

Idk, the Roger Pirates so far have seemed like the most traditional and straightforward fighters in the whole manga. They are all purely melee fighters wielding traditional weaponry as far as we can tell. The Whitebeard Pirates would be way more unorthodox opponents to face in battle.

I meant Rox Pirates in the God Valley scenario ..its just wild beasts in their prime with the best of them having Acoc highly likely.
Unless Kuzan was not THERE on GV

Even still I'm willing to bet he'd take on Kaido and still come out on top because young Kaido barely has any portrayal.. tho Kaido gets his fruit in GV which complicates this a bit unless I'm to assume both of their haki and physical abilities.

But in GV where Roger and Grap 2 v 1ed Rox.. Its hard to think that besides Ray and Gabban there is anyone else that would take on BM Whitebeard, and Shiki.

Shiki who took both Prime Garp and Sengoku btw.


But yea WB pirates is unorthodox but.. Ain't as rag tag and wild like Rox.
