And sure, that only is probably going to end this debate.

However, in this manga we saw only two different colours of swords: White and black. Ryo's Is black and looks exaclty as any other black balde we have seen:

Why are we supposing Ryo's Is some imaginary colour never used for swords?

Not to mention, Oda himselef said to look at VCs for canon information and that's what VCs showed:

Seems plenty to assume the sword is Indeed black.
I don't actually believe there's anything wrong with people saying it's a black blade. The only reason why I gave the initial response was because they asked why do people still argue it not being one.

The simple answer is that Oda just didn't color it in himself yet & we've seen colors turn out to be something entirely different from the official volume colors before.

All this shit could, and I phrase, "COULD", be subtle hint that Oda considers Shanks > Mihawk. Like from that comment about King not being a swordman, to having a black blade user twerks against Shanks.
I mean Oda will do anything to wank his self-insert, so I wouldn't put even this past Oda at this point.
I still think Mihawk > Shanks by a little margin (100-99) but I'm still skeptical and ready for the vice versa

Don't stay in Elbaph too long, or you'll bang a really sweet, sexy, cool Giant Lady, and make a kid...

...

Stay in Elbaph too long
It's not a Mink lady so I'll pass

This would work if he didn't straight up say Mihawk > Shanks

They don't want to accept the fact that Zoro and Mihawk aren't special.
Compared to Greencow and the waiters? They absolutely are.
DF merchants with Sentomaru level haki is not a benchmark for anyone.
King and Queen being injured with King hanging by a thread keeps the waiters discord up at night, and they were so sure that Greencow hurt a flame on King and no diffed his strongest moves :josad:

Why is mihawk and shanks getting talked about in a chapter they ain’t even in ?

King is a swordsman but not traditional swordsman

pirates fights with swords are swordsmen but in the eyes of samurai they wouldn’t be considered swordsman cuz they would use their hands or other gun for example.

fujitora and law are examples that both don’t fall under traditional swordsman but they consider themselves swordsman

The same I don’t think shanks is a traditional swordsman but he is still a swordsman

The only one who can beat me is me
Because he is a part time swordsman. Heck there is a good chance he is not even a swordsman. He shouldnt achieve a feat thats exclusive to the WSS and God of Blade.
No one could have predicted Kuzan had Garp The Fist lvl raw punching power, Admirals are just that well rounded where they can match other top tiers in their specialties :BigW:

I used to doubt the black blade, but after Fujitora having a Supreme blade from Wano when even homegrown samurai Oden wasn't given one, and Kuzan The Df merchant matching the greatest puncher of all time, anything is fair game for Admirals.
