Yeah taking his eyes out is a possibility, but they're probably just covered up as you said ofc.

If harald abused loki that would really put him in another damning might and make him similar to judge and Kaido for example, hmmmm. Harald and Kaido might be related too even and thus loki and hajrudin to him potentially.

There's a definitely a twist to what happened with harald and loki and how the Holy Knights were able to just teleport into elbaf too.

Saul belongs to the giant race that has Big forearm, small legs, and no horns, I can see Hajrudin's mom is the same race with Saul. They don't use any weapons, just rely on their bare fist. Hajrudin being a mixed giants, he does use both fist and weapons.
Are there any other giants race than these two? Let's say Whitebeard, he has a normal proportion, but his son 'Weevil' looks more like Saul. Maybe his ancestor is a mixed giant like Hajrudin.

When Kaido was a more interesting character. Could have tied nicely with some of his speech/quotes if he was some sort of bastard child of harald making him ancient giant halfling with others in return viewing him like a demon/ogre:
