But CoO Killing is an absolute as far as we’re told. It’s not that Shanks has better CoO than others, it’s that his CoC block CoO entirely.

Would be weird, if CoC is the only counter to their regeneration. There are solid top tiers, who might not have CoC and there are future top tiers, that do not have it.
Even if you have an agenda, you cannot believe that Kizaru for example would not beat the crap out of a HK.
And EoS Law and EoS Sanji would also have no business fighting a HK, even if they are otherwise just high tiers.
I doubt Oda is going to handle their regeneration this way

Haki was never portrayed as an absolute thing tho. Even DF negation isn't absolute, look at the range of levels from Law to Shanks to Joyboy

Someone mentioned this on Twitter but when Zoro attacked nusjuro with conq haki he blocked it which gives me further evidence that it’s the only way to damage them

also Rayleigh introduced damaging logia’s so Gaban introducing damaging regen makes a lot of sense

Nothing has ever described this as being the case. It's literally just "hes known as the killer of observation haki". We've never seen him do this and how he does this has never been mentioned

Observation killing is not even emphasised in the manga

To be fair I think he’s just introducing the holy knights for the final war because the marines are kinda depleted and need stronger forces

IMU and the gorosei are OP yeah but when you take into account the end of story straw hats + alliance + Loki maybe it’s necessary to add some more villains here

If final involves all of them fighting (HK, Gorosei,Imu, Admirals, Fleet Admiral, Vice admiral) + (SHs) + (Revo) + (Others), then we will only see IMUs fight properly and rest of them will be rushed.

Better if HK gets proper fight now and gets defeated
