Why is it that after Wano where advCoC was necessary to beat Kaido( he himself says haki surpasses all despite the great strength of a df and also says that only a handful of the very strongest can use advCoC ) people have problem with it countering regen?
Egghead had Joyboy's haki undo the transformations. This is all df and haki of Imu at work, their regen is given by Imu's df and hence advCoC is perfect.

This shows how only a handful of people can damage Imu and their army. You people that have problem with it and want a new mechanic this late in the story, will call it "asspull" one day after its reveal.

Re-read from chapter 1000. Not following the story and talking out of one's ass is the epitome of stupidity.

Wano- adv CoC battle between Luffy and Kaido. Luffy couldn't damage Kaido with armament and advCoA. Learned it midbattle and along with awakening beat Kaido.

Egghead- advCoC wasn't used in battle. Luffy clowned using gear 5 only. Joyboy's haki undid the Gorosei's transformation and sent them back.

Elbaph- advCoC shown as a way to damage and counter holy knights, Gorosei and Imu.

Imu really turned Gunko into GUNko.
True but acknowledging Gaban is the same as acknowledging Sanji.

And a lot of this fandom wants to act like Sanji gets mid diffed by Luffy or Zoro still lmao
It's so frustrating as Oda both overtly and subtly has tried to showcase that Zoro and Sanji are equals like certain supernova, pirate king commanders and such but agenda chasers will always need to downplay to protect their biases and fears/insecurities.

From at least Alabasta if not before they've been shown to work together and be equals and Oda really went all out to express that throughout Wano too.

But we have a fandom that unironically pushes agendas and powerscales over height, especially a mere 1cm difference, sweat, expressions, what leg Vergo used etc so at this point, I think even Sisphyus would see our forum and choose to push the boulder instead.

People would enjoy this series a lot more if they were less brainrotted and obsessed by agendas and powerscaling (might be blasphemy to say that here ofc lmao) and actually like or even love Zoro and Sanji as I do (maybe even bigger blasphemy, RIP).

Oda even had Queen breaking swords on Sanji recently. Subtle hints lol. Sanji is too underestimated. Plus Ifrit Jambe is amazing despite what anyone says.

I made this thread on reddit years ago
Drew a reunion between Gaban and Rayleigh!

Aww man I love this. For donkeys years I expected him to be Gaban too, RIP lmao. Maybe he's Shiki instead? /s.
Oda really played us all sigh lol.

I still feel he planned that guy to be Gaban originally and thus another former Roger Pirate and one of Roger's hands would be witnessing the son of Roger's execution and aldo the inevitable fall of Roger's best frenemy-rival aside from Garp too I guess.

Gunko loving Brooks music really has more weight to it now too. Another Uta similarity as her father figure "abandoned" her too lol. @jinz
Music, and Brook specifically, has the potential of being the key here if:
1. music is used to snap Gunko back to take control of her body, even if just for a few seconds, enough to stop IMU from killing someone important;
2. if IMU truly is from another dimension, then Brook's conjuring of "hell ice" through music might either grant the SHs access to IMU's dimension, or interfere with IMU's possession from said dimension.

Maybe Imu's incoming Smackdown causes enough commotion for the binds to be undone.
Either that or the binds actually save them from an ass whopping coz they aren't viewed as a threat :risisweat:
At the very least Robin's I hope binds are undone, others can stay bound lol
Robin staying powerless while the library is burning would be nasty, especially after she got that chapter ending panel about how she won't let them.

Bro no parent would willingly sacrifice their kid like that.
"bro", OP dads are not exactly the caring types.
The top and high tier fathers in the story abandoned their kids at a young age.
Dragon would not let his Revo army efforts go to waste because someone put a knife on Luffys throat.
If you allow your enemies to use hostages against you they will always use these cheap tactics. Surrendering will not make it better, its actually making it worse.

Its fine though, Gaban is still clear. This whole situation just happened so Luffy can take the limelight.

Bruh colon would have been killed otherwise...
And? 1 kid vs the entire country. Which Gaban is aware of according to his inner monologue.
I will give it to Gaban here though. Hes one of the few OP dads that actually care.

I mean she tried :josad:so can't really fault her much tbh
Reckon there's gonna be some get out of jail card for the library.
Most likely something involving the Owl.
Maybe it has the ability to turn back time on objects or sumin.
Hasn't really done yet much but will prolly have some significance ^^

Also I don't wanna hate on Jinbe but I really don't like the fact that he's not trying.
Maybe I'm overreacting but, when you see Saul fight till the very end against an opponent he couldn't win against looking for hope in Robin and Chopper and then Robin using her head to try to get rid of Sommers and even this chapter trying to forcefully break out of the torns to help somehow even though it's an awful matchup for her abilities and then Chopper seeing a glimmer of hope and then being desperate to latch on to it but then there's Jinbe, telling Robin to not forcefully break out of the thorns coz it's a bad matchup for her. I mean I get that he's simply just concerned but there's nuffin wrong with being desperate and trying lol. Just feels like he lacks urgency and I'm not really sure how not doing anything in this situation is gonna help. I mean come climax if Jinbe plays some major role and gets some major feats then fantastic but pending that I'd have liked him to put his back into it a bit more. I mean is the strongest out of everyone there.

Jinbe looks too apathetic, I get that he's supposed to be the experienced and mature veteran so him freaking out would seem OOC but it makes him look like he doesn't give a shit lol. And it doesn't look like he's trying to find a way to free himself and the rest either.

100%. He's literally just sitting on his hands waiting for something to happen which is weird given how dire tings are atm.
Like my bruda do something! anything! lol but anyways could just be a preference ting on my part.

Elbaf act 1:
"Robin, the Ohara Library has been salvaged and Saul is alive! Aren't you happy?"

"Brook, here's a quirky lady from your past. She remembers your music; do you remember her?"

Elbaf act 2:
"The Ohara-Elbaf Library is gone forever. Saul was murdered by the HKs. Robin, wtf have you been doing?"

"Brook, watch out, your only link to your past life, aside from Laboon, is being controlled by the shadow king of the world! Run away before she murders you!"

Elbaf act 3:
"Don't worry, Robin. I, Lady Vegapunk, have already compiled all the Ohara-Elbaf knowledge in my punk cloud archive. All ebooks will be available to you remotely on the Sunny. Oh, and I gave Saul a mecha heart. He's alive again!"

"Oh, cool, you managed to save Gunko from IMU's influence. Aren't you happy, Brook? Now she'll be benched for the rest of the series, being your cheerleader in future newspaper events."
