King has no advanced Hakis, he has no CoC and as a matter of facts, he got crippled by Zoro and one wing is missing. Yes, he has shown great feats against Zoro but feats can always age like milk because what ultimately matters is portrayal. All of that "King > Katakuri" stuff can easily crumble when Katakuri starts clashing with characters stronger than King. Hell, it happened to Lucci - a pre timeskip antagonist and now people compare him to King. Lucci ain't even a conqueror.

Is King gonna lead the remaining Beast Pirates? Certainly not, there's a significantly higher chance Yamato is doing that.
Meanwhile, Katakuri doesn't only have better Haki than King, he is a conqueror - and conquerors can always bloom more than non conquerors because their potential is that high.
Katakuri was a freaking monster when he was still a child without relying on some brutally overpowered genes.
The same dude has all the qualities as a leader to lead the BMP, unless Big Mom comes back and turns good again, who knows?

Now we see old legends and some top tiers having FS, you think this still doesn't mean anything?
I am NOT saying that FS makes Katakuri a top tier but he is not just a "mere commander" like Queen or King. Rayleigh isn't stating this "Among the mightiest, some of them can see into the future" only for some scrub using it. Heck, Katakuri mastered FS to such high levels that he's using it 24/7.

Why can't i say king is gonna fight stronger characters then kata in the future ?
His role and story is far more important then katakuri in the final saga

Gaban already save robin and Ray already said he only save Boa because of how things were.

What you're talking about here is Future Potential.
I ain't commenting on that , Current King and Current Katakuri.
Its easily King > Katakuri.

Does that make you a top tier? Luffy was one shotted later on.

Ryou and FS , doesn't make you the strongest. Or mightiest. Ability is unique but that's all.

We got Bigmom , Blackbeard , Law , Sitting anywhere on the top tier branch with no FS.

Kaidou used FS once. Luffy did it like twice or thrice.

Its impractical to use it continously because it requires a lot of focus. Even kata got distracted during the battle.
