Magic vs science?

The AK distilled magic to its basics and put it inside technology for everybody to use, including those without magical aptitude nor knowledge of spells.

That technology was called Science Fruits.

The magical elite of witches and wizards despised it, seeing their monopoly on magic threatened. They dubbed the technology "the work of the devil" and rallied the ignorant masses to rebel against the technocracy.
Top tier take.

After ADVCOC PU Zoro didn't even need Asura against King it was low mid diff after that.
Luffy on the other hand after ADVCOC he was still weaker and after G5 it was still extreme diff against Kaido.
Read the context of the fights Retærd

Zoro was equal to Kaku, after PU Asura oneshot Kaku and his strongest attack.

Sanji couldn't damage Jabra after PU he 2 shot him and got injured in the process by Jabras strongest attack.

Luffy was not equal to Lucci in base G2/3 didn't one shot Lucci, only Ussop PU made luffy defeat Lucci. So not the same as Zoro v Kaku. Zoro was still fighting after defeating Kaku. Luffy was near death and couldn't move after Lucci.

Context of the fights matter but it's obvious Retærd can't comprehend this.
both zolo and king are neg diff material against Kaido

Any arc is gold mine of Mihawk slander (chasing fodder to East Blue, sent packed from his castle, etc) if only he appeared more and becoming more relevant.
He was only saved by his irrelevance to the plot. But lately it still backfires, even his irrelevance can't save him anymore and it becomes his new slander.

Right? @Kōri no kokyū @GalaxyLevelShanks
I have repeatedly said stop quoting me.
I'm not interested.

Can someone explain the complaint about Imu's magic btw?
(beyond well why didn't he possess people before, which again that's a different conversation IMO)
Like, this isn't like Haki being added to the series, not everyone will have magic, and it doesn't change the fighting style overall. Imu is from a different era, and its been implied he and the Gorosei have something other then devil fruits

I think Gabum is equally a bum as Sanji

1 is only famous thanks to being shoulder with shoulder with Rayleigh. It was never the opposite "oh Rayleigh? The guy shoulder to shoulder with Gaban"
While the other being famous only as Judge's son.
Yeah thats cool but as opposed to others i dont get ass mad by a guy that stans shillew tho so answer the question :willight:

DFs are effectively devil contracts as well. Just you don’t pay with your life, but give up your ability to swim which, given that the sea levels are rising means everyone has to eventually move on top of the Red Line where Imu is and serve him to survive and without being able to swim a normal person would just be forever stuck there. And might have been his plan all along?
So basically he wants people to eat devil fruit to serve under him . My man Goffy messed up by eating Nika fruit but it could be anti thesis of Imu’s powers let’s see .

Somehow Imu feels far less terrifying than Salem.
Just imagine…

Salem comes from an era where Magic was still a thing
Imu also comes from such an era

Both are immortal
Both have an ever reincarnating Nemesis
Both are the de facto rulers of their worlds
Both can turn their subordinates into demonic creatures
Both are likely vessels of some even higher deity

Like bruh, it feels like the stories are very alike at this point.

But somehow Imu feels less terrifying, largely because Oda has destroyed so much any sense of tension, danger or real stakes in One Piece during the Yonko saga; and with his too many fake deaths.
