I think even the marines would have a motive now. The last time we saw everyone was before or during VP's speech, which means since then a lot of things could have happened behind the scenes.
Would the marines still support the WG, when they know that the whole damn planet gets flooded? Akainu's best friend Kizaru is/was already heavily conflicted, then there's sword and we know that a whole lot of anti WG marines exisred beforehand already.
I wouldn't put it past the marines to be behind it or atleast an inofficial rebelious force of some kind.
Imu’s ability is a bit too brutal
Fact that he can force someone to become his slave irregardless of their free will & also drain said victim’s lifespan to power them up is way too broken. Normally there’s usually some sort of restriction on the oppressor but fact that he can do all this with no drawback is insane.
Plus Dorry & Broggy aren’t exactly weak willed. To give a bit of context, Dorry & Broggy prolly don’t pass out from Shanks CoC blast, maybe even Joyboy’s but even then they were still victims to Imu’s ability
