Because again.. It contradicts what happened against Kaido.
Luffy also said that when he transformed into Boundman in 1042, either way he was going to lose due to exhaustion and damage accumulation even if Kaidou didn't outright kill him

Vastly isn’t an exaggeration. D and B fought the gorosei alongside Luffy and didn’t even get touched instead they were the ones flipping and beheading them. They fought off screen long enough for Luffy to need multiple G5s and they left completely fine. D and Bs portrayal is vastly above Sommers and Killingham.

Well the guy you were talking to spoke of the Holy Knights generally so I assumed we were speaking of them as a unit

Even if you take them individually it’s an unfair comparison. Sommers immobilized Robin instantly and none of the Strawhats without haki have the ability to get out of his thorns (Robin can’t) while Saturn couldn’t even kill the weak trio in Egghead

You’re gonna say it’s “plot” but then we could apply the same thing to Dorry and Brogy. Hell, we saw some of the Giants repel Mars’ lightning beam and they likely aren’t anywhere near the Gorosei in strength either

It isn’t really fair to say their portrayal is vastly inferior just yet

After gaban neg diffed one it is. There’s zero chance Oda would draw gaban neg diffing Dory or Brogy.
