What the fuck do you think this manga is? No way you're seriously trying to argue that it's weird if Xebec killed an Admiral as a rookie when that's a staple of Shonen mangas
Please just take time out of your day to read mangas like Yu Yu Hakusho, after the Dark Tournament we learn that there are hundreds of demons that are just as strong as Younger Toguro if not far stronger.
In Dragon Ball Frieza was seen as a top tier and yet the second he got reintroduced he got molested by a young Trunks (and that's actually a STRONGER Frieza).
This is classic Shonen tropes, Admirals won't always be the cream of the crop, we're bound to find guys that can beat them and then get far stronger from there.
