At this point, do you think Fisher Tiger breaking into Mariejois is even early installment weirdness? We know for a fact that Mariejois has been raided like 5 times, all mentioned in the final saga. Even Xebec attacked Mariejois but was the one who attacked God Valley later on.....

I don't think Oda had thought about any of this when he wrote FI arc and Fisher Tiger's backstory.
