I can see very few current day characters side quest diffing admirals

Consider this was a no name Admiral in Marijoa. A character with zero relevance and even resticted. Present ones are a completely different breed entirely.

Kizaru gave Luffy post Kaido an heart attack and then saved him.
Fuji Is a memebr of group which actually has Roger and WB in their ranks.
Aokiji Is the actual powerhouse inside BB, who is going to be Xebec but stronger.

And so on.

No, power creep happens when previous ceiling feats become common or less impressive.

Case in point is planet busting in DBZ, starts off crazy but becomes so common that even characters that are effectively fodder can pull it off.

An out of prime Xebec replicating Prime WB and Roger is a strong indicator we’re about to get some power creep

less impressive cuz the one who powercreeped it has should show way more impressive stuff , the only character who has actually powercrept the likes of roger and wb is void century joyboy with his sky splitting haki blast .

Not a good scene for sure, but there Is a full package here.

I mean, in this very chapter Xebec does the same as Prime Roger/WB lol.

Xebec had a insane CoC clash with Harald
Destroyed the justice gate
Broke into Imu's room, just to tell him he's a fan of Davy Jones
Has future Yonko members as his subordinates
Fought both Roger and Garp at God Valley

Him killing a nerfed Admiral shouldn't come off as a huge surprise, seeing how much Oda is hyping this guy up.

Some want to use this to downplay the Admirals, but in reality Rocks truly was a legendary pirate, I don't see anyone else doing the same thing or having the same hype as Rocks.

Whatever Xebec pulled here - AdCoC clash, Destroying Gate of Justice or killing an admiral -----> he did it before reaching his prime.

Even if we go by worst estimate and think Xebec was 30 during reverie and 48/50 at God Valley, Xebec pulled all these feats atleast a decade before he reached his peak.

So, real question is - if this was non prime Xebec



Then, how strong was Prime Xebec?


He really got tag teamed by Roger, Garp and perhaps even by Garling

You are coping so hard - it doesn’t take James Web Telescope to see it. Admirals are just glorified bodyguards, not fit for real purpose. Aokiji couldn’t even defeat an old Garp by himself
