@Reborn people say the BBP mimic the Rocks' pirates, etc etc.
But there are key differences.
While the Impel Down people kinda act insubordinate like the Rocks' pirates were said to, or shown on that god valley page, the OG4 from the BBP are actually 10000% loyal to Teach straight up. Lafitte even threatens Pizarro in Marineford.
And I think this is gonna be a key difference in why Teach is gonna reach beyond what Xebec did. Xebec was probably betrayed and abandoned in God Valley, but Teach actually manages to earn his crew devotion. Which is why I'm not on the "Aokiji betrays or is betrayed" train.
I dont care about "big war scale" or whatever. The most anticipated clash on this manga is and has always been, SHP vs BBP.
It's the Roger vs Xebec of this era.
Now, if Coby is gonna play the same part as Garp, who knows. But Teach is still a much better antagonist than mr secret boss that appeared 1000+ chapters in that no one asked for.

I know he will most likely be the strongest swordsman ever. It doesn’t mean Mihawk is the strongest ever. No top 1 character in history is having the portrayal Mihawk did before they go all out. Seriously can you imagine Madara or someone shitting the bed the way Mihawk did in MF? Ask yourself if Marco is sending Vista alone to stop xebec lol. Zoro’s PL catapulted when he unlocked ACoC and against Mihawk he will unlock an even bigger power up. If he goes in the fight as an equal or someone close to him then it won’t be surprising he will come out of the fight 1-2 tiers stronger. Nor will it be surprising if he has to fight someone else like Imu or Shiryu after it which can catapult him even higher
