Blackbeard being the final villain doesn't seem so farfetched anymore. The only problem is that his crew, bar Kuzan, is definitely not up to the task

They are growing in power and are supposed to fight Strawhats, which will not all be top tiers. They will also cheat like Shiryu against Garp .

Dude the way Xebec moves his eyes makes him seem almost insane

That'd kind of kill the hype behind Xebec a little and I don't think Oda wants to do that. I feel that he specifically had him kill an Admiral so that we understand just how powerful Xebec really is.
Not to mention, if his journey is a parallel to Teach's, then it makes sense if he killed the Admiral fairly since it'd be a mirror to Teach defeating Ace and using that to make him skyrocket in popularity and gain respect and cooperation from the level 6 pirates.

Teach will kill Kizaru and suck his light out.

Im 50/50. On one hand you had characters like Doflamingo being hyped to being PK by their subordinates, or Kaido claiming he'd find one piece.

Rocks or Blackbeard saying they want to be king of the world is the highest ambition you can have 150%, but to me it reads like he might still lose before Imu is dealt with, especially because Oda still refuses to even show what Imu is.
