The moment the manga is named One Piece and Roger is the PK it’s a done deal

Like many others here I do expect that Imu killed a injured Xebec in the end. Probably after taking over the body of a HK. But only after Roger beat Xebec in a 1 v 1. Xebec was Rogers most important rival. Roger beating him in a 2 v 1 would make him a mere fraud and that goes against the portrayal Roger has among Xebecs former subordinates and just in general. He is the PK after all while Xebec has failed.
