Yeah, I think Hisoka even before the post-mortem nen is probably more impressive in terms of CQC, and I think Bungee Gum also could be an effective counter to Silva's emissions

We went from Gaban, to Harald, to Loki, to Rocks, now to Roger in this flashback.
Oda is using this flashback to do historical lore dump, and he wanted to give the fans the lowest hanging fruit of hypebeast by bringing on a Roger vs Garp clash. And show off some beautiful women while at it.
