Anyone that thought a 15 year old Kaidou could defeat Vergo, forget Law, because he could give Xebec a serious fight when he was having heated battles with Hanafuda and Moriah many years later when he was much stronger with his df, need not be taken seriously.

What gas? Only rocks and WB were gassed in the FB. Gura's power was WB's showcase. Kaido also got some hype about destroying the island. Most rocks pirates wanted to go after shakky. BM didn't had much competition to get DFs.

Re read what I said. Kaidou as an adult many times stronger than his 15 year old version was having heated battles with Moriah and was rivalling Hanafuda.

If you think a much much weaker dfless Kaidou could push Xebec past negative difficulty, you should not be taken seriously in any discussion.

Kaido is asking a question to clear up a doubt or get confirmation, which must be based on some previous conversation with Big Mom. In the last chapter, they were talking about the Devil Fruits (DFs), and Kaido asks if she would really give him the DF, which suggests that Big Mom had said that to him, and he’s just trying to confirm. Somehow, the guys suddenly reacted like this:

Look guys, Kaidou is begging for a DF, uwooooooooouuuuuuu

Yes, they are a bunch of virgins insecure about Waidou, unfortunately this is the conclusion I come to.

Why are you kind of fudging and distorting things, LEE? And it's not like Kaidou, at 21, had enough experience at that time to know that Haki already transcended everything.

And a Zoan would help boost his physical stats and allow him to strike faster. They’re perfect fruits to use with Haki, which transcends everything, letting him hit even harder by combining it with his Haki.

You are really desperate, just enjoy Chad Waidou, he is looking like gigachad at 21

I think the probleme with CoC lies that someone like Kaido or Whitebeard has it too at top of their df powers.

And CoC became the new super Sayajin. Everyone has it and it is a one dimensional powerup:
- lightning trails
- shockwave

And if every character always show the same skills again and again, the fights in One piece lose his meaning.

Imagine would people like it if top tiers all run with a Nika df? All having similar powers? Nope...
.
And the same count for Adv CoC. It doesn't sees be so special and open up the question: how poeple like Shanks,Roger,Xebec and the others(Mihawk/Ray) can fight people who have also CoC+a awakened df??

Nen in HxH is a better powersystem, everyone has it but everyone gets a different ability, it isn't one dimensional. This make nen unique because characters show different skills, One Piece need that too because everyone spamming just shockwave is lame...

Adv CoC given a special skill, is what Roger and co need now. Hope Oda bring new ways to make fights with CoC better in One Piece.

Yea I see it very similar.
But I think it's really a big part of Oda's game. He kept all the interesting abilities hidden for the final saga, hence the oldies and everyone non final saga related by default will be less interesting just in terms of abilities.
