I’d imagine she was pretty strong. Pre timeskip Luffy at the same age as his father here probably would not have fared well either, though maybe slightly better than his dad since, well, he is the main character.


I am kind of glad Oda is making Dragon feel more human and not over glazing him. His persona has always been to avoid fights whenever possible. Showing him this way highlights his humble beginnings and will really pay off once we see his sleeper build from the past fully revealed lol. Then we will get to witness the current Dragon wrecking everything in his path.

Then everyone will know why Dragon belongs on the same powerlevel as the admirals and the emperors.

Dragon’s stocks will surely rise, if they haven’t already.
