No chance we're looking at prime WB here.
1) We've seen old WB's performance vs old Garp's and WB completely shat on Garp in an infinitely worse condition.
2) Garp admitted WB was king of the seas.
3) Roger used WB to 'pretend' he had his hands full — Roger was trolling WB here, whereas we later see them clashing equally in Oden's flashback when both are in their prime.
4) WB is not yet a 'great pirate'.
Tbh, I still don't believe anyone here is in their prime apart from Xebec and from the way he's being portrayed, Garp.
