Either way him getting ACoC is guaranteed due to him being the new Garp, so, who cares?

It wasn’t full blown ACoC, but it has a high chance of being leaking ACoC.

The series is going to its finish. Hachinosu was a big moment for Koby and idk how many more he’ll really get.

Rather than him getting another moment just to awaken CoC, I’m pretty sure he’ll just be using ACoC next time we see him with a short flashback of Bogard telling Koby that he used ACoC in Honesty impact.

The usual ACoA (or ACoA further ifused with ACoC) barrier haki has clear tells though.

It's something you actively radiate from your hands + it's depicted as a circular impact.

As for Linlin unleashing those CoC streaks while taking Damned Punk, I always interpreted that as her letting out CoC to further intimidate Law's / Kidd's crew fodder so that she can more easily overcome their bravado and suck out their souls, which she is actually seen doing in the same panel.

So I'm still not so sure ACoC can become this protective aura you're just passively surrounded with, tbh.

Garp blocked Linlin's attack with HAKI. CoA or CoC the end result was the same, he no-sold HFB but he needed his HAKI to do so, that's why he had haki trails after the atk

And yes you can passively surround yourself with CoC. Yonko do it passively with CoA/CoC. BM and Kaido let CoC roars out. Zoro LEAKS it. It's def a thing

Koby was trained personally by Garp and we know training with a top tier can make you jump several tiers, i.e Luffy being trained by Rayleigh and becoming YC4-YC3 level over the span of 2 years.
Given Koby was trained by someone very slightly above Rayleigh, it makes no sense that he didn't come out of the timeskip around the same level as Luffy. I hope Oda reveals that, during the Rocky Port Incident, he took down a few level 6 escapees that took refuge in Hachinosu to escape the WG.

My King Kuri wank was always genuine. Started back in OJ. Those that were around should remember how hard i even defended Linlin, but then Ndule went way too hard with his Admiral slander so i dropped wanking his favs. My Cracker takes are just honest. Cracker is a beast.

Oh, ofc Garp used CoA to shield himself against Linlin's attack, that's not what I'm doubting at all, no worries.

CoC roars are still a technique that you actively perform. Instead of imbuing your fist with ACoC you simply splice it into the roar you let out. It's not really equivalent to coating yourself with CoA passively. And Zoro's leaky CoC isn't presented as something that amps his defence or anything like that.

Ndule was never really a Yonko fan anyways, just a Big mom pirates truther who fell for Crydo propaganda. He did a great job from the beginning defending Linlin against Crydo.

Now he's fighting a losing battle against the Red rat.

I mean he probably did come out as strong as Luffy

It’s just Luffy got fucktons of power ups in WCI and Wano.

But like, Koby’s bounty going into Hachinosu was 500 mil, same as Luffy’s.

It’s because Zoro and Sanji became significantly stronger than their opponents in the course of those fights.

While Luffy just barely surpassed his opponents in WCI.
