No wonder even Koby called Kyros "strong" during the reverie, not so long ago before he unlocked this new haki for a single punch.

I'm not gonna lie though Grus shows promise. Especially for a rear Admiral, he's way too impressive for that rank, when even most VA are fodder. I can see him becoming an Admiral along with Coby after a major timeskip or in the sequel.

Obviously it will be a mickey mouse era, but yea I'm putting my cards on Grus above any other marine from this era.

Without Drake? they get mercked.

Drake provides them a fighter who can stall up Lucci in order to utilize the team work and their abilities with cheapshots and such. Without Drake nobody has any challenge for Lucci in CQC.

Lucci is equal to current Zoro with 2 swords, I don't know if Drake is quite on that level ngl

Ray aint even use a single named atk on Kizaru either. Kizaru sword is Ama Murakumo so thats 2 named atks used against Ray

All he had was basic CoA and CoO that was enough to fight him to standstill

Kuzan showed us that old legends when push comes to shove they will use their haki bags to do the work. Ray would make simple work of G5 too btw

He is then off-panel for 150+ chapters
He comes back at Amazon Lily, where he's saved by an emperor. But negotiates himself to save other marines, heroic shit. But we've seen other Marines do more heroic shit at this point already.
Few chapters later at Hachinuso he's saving civilians from pirates, standard quo marine job.

Where is this again and again happening??? he's done basically standard marine quo stuff where he saves civilians from pirates.


The only person who has been blatantly been cast again and again as something the Marines should be, is Fujitora. Since Fujitora provides an actual change to marines in their core principle of how they operate. No other marine.
