So will Zoro and Sanji also job next?
Predictions are either A) Imu coughs more blood and decides to leave. B) dragon or shanks save his ass C)Imu receives an emergency call of Blackbeard raiding the holy land then leaves?
My bet is that Z/S will manage to hurt them which in turn will hurt Imu and give Luffy and Loki a shot at redemption.

At worst say Z/S are able to stall Sommers and Killingham enough for Dragon and Shanks to finish the job, effectively sending Imu back. No one is talking to Imu this arc, not even Dragon and Shanks combined. So only chance is to take out those other two, one way or another.

I think it would be better for the series if they do and this is a Saobody defeat for the Strawhats

We are in the rare position where the villains do need to leave quite sharpish, so it makes a bit of sense for them to beat the Strawhats but leave them alive, with Imu needing to get back to mariejois and Sommers and Killingham needing to get away with the kids.

The Strawhats having an outright defeat would have:

Imu gets firmly established as the top of the world

The Omen powerup maintains it’s threat level for EoS with Zoro and Sanji
unable to even beat the lower tier users, let alone the Gorosei and Shamrock

All the Strawhats get another “we’re not hot shit after all” moment and start to take things really seriously. Luffy should be so badly injured that he’s out of commision for like a month, and the others from Zoro down to Usopp should take that time to seriously train (and that means every one of them having worked on their Haki for it)

And maybe that can explain Usopp’s so far inexplicable treatment so far this arc, where them failing to protect his beloved Elbaf’s children causes him to decide to man the fuck up for the future. All the other Strawhats will be hit by this as well, but mostly Usopp.

Does modern Oda have the balls for it? Probably not.

One thing caught my attention - do you remember how in chapter 1122 in a flashback we saw Joy Boy talking to Emet and many people assumed that Joy Boy has a wooden leg after that.

Interestingly, in one of the panels in this chapter, Luffy also looks like he has a peg leg.

And now i wonder if we're actually right, or if it's just a matter of shading and angle.

I'm waiting next luffy form to optimus prime or gundam. Wtf this random ginie form? He transformed to ginie for what reason? What if they cut princess shuri tattoo hand and gonna be free and join strawhats with boney? Isn't bad at all.

On my second reread and I think Luffy's personality change in G5 was finally his downfall in this chapter.

He allowed himself to be so easily distracted by IMU's Omens and that left him open to be stabbed by IMU's void sword. He needs to get that personality shift sorted out, because he only seems weak due to the fact he's always fucking around. He has the speed to dodge and react to IMU, he displayed the speed prior to getting stabbed.

This chapter also confirmed for me with the genie bit that "the ability to use your imagination" is quite literally no limits to how he uses his body. I'm also noticing some simularities between Luffu and IMU's powers as well.

Not really how that works. Lol. We have seen Gunko's entire upper body get blown off and it didn't even stop her villain monologue (so removing it didn't affect her mentally either). Removing the physical mark doesn't seem to do jack shit for the Knights, they still just regenerate.

Just chill and let chill
Hmmm.....now that I think of it.....if Luffy is out, and our chicken wings fights are starting, does it maybe mean that Sanji & Zoro will succeed in beating their opponents to the point that it weakens Imu and he has to retreat? Would be hella neat and would reinforce their wings status fr. Although, I think time is Imu's worst enemy there, and he's going to run out of time faster than the evil plot is completed.
Also, will give SHP some time to recuperate and train on the legendary warrior island with Gaban I guess?

A lot of things will happen simuntaneously.
Sommers and killin taken out.
Gunko will do something.
Nerf will kick in.

And then probably Loki or Luffy would manage to do any meaningfull damage lol

Didn’t Vegapunk mention that awakened Zoans can take over or change the personality of the user. Like overwhelming the identity to its own will and nature?

I think that’s what’s going on and it’s more of hindrance in a fight like this. Imagine Luffy with the focus of his fight with Lucci, Katakuri, or Kaido (first half) while in G5 and a Haki boost akin to the power of the joy boy knot. Just an idea
