I hear you on the Imu being a bit boring bit tbh, but I think the reason why he feels a bit boring is coz Oda's restraining his bag either for the climax or for the final war & also making him passive to stall for time. We've seen what Imu can do when he's a bit more proactive. He dispatched Loki quicktime and negged Luffy in 1~2 chapters.

Reckon we will see peak Imu once the wings fights progress a bit more. Fact that we are still yet to see hybrid Loki I think is evidence that there is till more to come yet in this fight.
It's not about his techniques he did well beter than kaidou in my opinion.

But as characters I dont enjoy him at all
Other than talking in 3rd person like someone above everyone, he only has angry reactions or coughing blood
He is empty as chapter.

Usually villains are either laughing and mucking mc or being badass in some situations
But imu is just like a doll
...
The only thing that may change later is his last fight if it was 1 vs 1 with goofy .

I think next chapter we go to Sanji vs Killingham and Zaza.

While Zoro vs Sommers right now is more boring because Zoro can defeat Sommers easily, even if Sommers doesnt lose the omen from Imu,Sanji has the target to beat also Zaza and to unlock his CoC so it should be more interesting

Where's your "bruh Imu is The Devil and he's definitely the final villain Blackbeard is a fat asshole" rhetoric now?

Your bullshit always just reflects the most simple minded crap there is haha
Did the fight end without me knowing?
Imu is fighting two Yonko-level opponents simultaneously all by himself. He defeated Loki with two sword strikesβ€”*Nemesis* and *Stigma*; if not for Luffy, Loki would be dead. He defeated Luffy with two other sword strikesβ€”*Vohu* and *Fragarach*β€”and if not for Gaban, Luffy would have been sliced in half by the *Xingtian* axe. He defeated Gaban, and if not for Hajrudin, Gaban would have been killed by the *Honebami* sword.

Just because he took two combined hits, you think the final villain is going to be the guy who ran to Rayleigh because he didn't want a one-on-one fight? In short: Imu defeated three Yonko-level opponents in one-on-one encounters and only took a hit that actually had some effect when two of those opponents combined their attacks.

I doubt Luffy will need help to defeat Blackbeard, but I also doubt Luffy will defeat Imu in a one-on-one fight.
