From that wording, we can understand that Admirals are expected to win against even multiple commanders, and it would not be expected for even multiple commanders to beat an Admiral.
“Nothing suggests Green Bull can beat fresh King” except for the fucking manga lmfao. Show me one instance of anybody in this manga claiming a commander, or even multiple commanders, can defeat an Admiral. I’m showing you a literal confirmation that the Admirals are expected to defeat even multiple commanders.
“Commanders are objectively strong” only if you’re a Yawnco:

Mihawk states that he would be a fool if he hadn’t heard Vista’s name. This is Mihawk outright stating that Vista is so strong, that Mihawk would be a fool if he hadn’t heard of him. Again yet another instance of Mihawk perceiving commander level characters to be strong. And Vista is pretty much just some nobody who’s only noteworthy feat is fighting Mihawk, I doubt he even has a bounty as high as Jack.
Vista was perfectly capable of stalling Mihawk 1v1, but only faced Akainu when literally every remaining WB commander + Crocodile were at his side. That right there is the difference between a top pirate and an Admiral.

So no, Fujitora did not stalemate Sabo.
-Sabo is huffing and puffing from exertion while Fujitora is completely fine and even trolling him
-Sabo is literally accusing Fujitora of holding back against him, which is later explicitly confirmed.
We also see that Sabo is bloodied while Fujitora is without a single scratch.
Oda establishes the narrative that Sabo doesn’t really understand why Fujitora is fighting in such a reserved manner:

Now Fujitora’s words here foreshadow the fact that Fujitora was willing to gamble the fate of Dressrosa on Luffy beating Doflamingo in order to incriminate the Marines and the Shichibukai system as a whole.
Now, this wouldn’t be an Admiral fight without Oda explicitly spelling out the reason why the Admiral didn’t overwhelmingly beat their opponent:
Fujitora intentionally did not win his fight against Sabo, since claiming he could not get past Sabo allowed him an excuse for not helping Doflamingo, which he didn’t want to do.
When your opponent is nuance, and you are a sword swallower, victory is impossible. You literally fell for Fujitora’s own bait that he intentionally used to deceive his superiors without losing his rank.
Now the idea of Sabo only being YC2 is in and of itself questionable for many reasons but let’s pretend that point is completely valid for now. Unfortunately for you, I did not forget about Mihawk vs Jozu:
What was Mihawk’s excuse for sheathing his blade against YC23Jozu? He wanted to test his strength against Whitebeard himself, but sheathed his blade as soon as Jozu showed up? Why can’t he just one shot Jozu and then attack Whitebeard? This is Oda subtextually communicating Mihawk’s place: inferior to Whitebeard, relative to Whitebeard’s commanders. This isn’t Mihawk downplay btw, remember all Yawnco are relative to Whitebeard’s commanders and perceive their own commanders as being strong. Whitebeard was simply by far the strongest Pirate and Mihawk was unworthy of challenging him.
What was Mihawk’s excuse for postponing against YC5 Vista? Oh yeah there was none LOL, Mihawk is simply not that much stronger than Vista that he cannot beat him easily.
Same character Akainu fought in 1v13 while taking no injuries btw.
So yea, TL;DR EOS Zolo is barely stronger than Marco at best, all Yawnco and pirates of the last 20 years are barely stronger than their own commanders.
