I love the Rocks panel, all of them seems like looking at their own separate way.. By the look of Kaido's hair, i think he's facing to the back.

Good catch, I think it represents them all having their own agendas and eventually going their own separate ways

Thankfully we don't go through every of the retainer, I like this fast pace for the flashback and best piece so far is the small panel with LinLin

I'm going to use my awesome detective skills and say that you're a LinLin fan

One of my favorite characters in the series too. I was thinking of writing a long post about how unique her character is from many different angles but I thought it'd get lost through the wash of power scaling nonsense.

I don't think it will be a nonchalant encounter, I'm sure it will be a world changing scene. Whenever the Poneglyphs are brought into the flashback story line, Lady Toki will take center stage. She will be one of the catalyst for Kaido returning to Wano.

Remember Momonosuke said that Kaido was the enemy of his parents, plural. The only reason Kaido would have a connection with Toki would be her involvement in the Void Century and her knowledge of the Poneglyphs.

The only question is if Oden met Toki before or after he traveled with Roger, honestly my bet is on before and that's what inspired him to open the borders of Wano in 20 years time, his travels with Roger just gave him the tools/knowledge he needed to do so, tools that Toki (for whatever reason) could not provide herself. Maybe in a similar vein to Robin's conversation with Rayleigh on Sabaody?

Unless Roger came to Wano at some point too, Oden's biggest chance of meeting Roger was at sea, when aboard WB's ship. If that is the case, Oden probably met Roger first, Toki later. Once he met Toki, he understood the significance of Roger meeting and went to ride with him.

Yeap, they're 40 in the current timeline, and they came to wano 33 years ago so they're 7.

Wait I remembered now that the Editors fixed the starting time of the Flashback from 39 years to 41 years ago.

So they arrived 35 years ago so they're 5 years old not 7.
