I’ve always thought Sengoku downplayers were foolish lol.
Huh? Have you been reading? Marco was the youngest member of the crew and the rookie lol.
I remember the downplayers who though back then that Sengoku wasn't ever a real fighter but just the head of the Navy. They keep downplay him in the past, yet he beat Shiki together with Garp and now praised by Roger.
They almost always ignore the fact that Sengoku was chosen by Kong to lead an attack on the Edd War which involves Roger, Rayleigh, Shiki along with his entire fleet.

I'm going to take an "L" because you think a 16 year old Marco is stronger than this guy, when 1 year prior he wasn't even being sent on scouting missions because he was an apprentice.

Sorry bro, there’s no reason Whitebeard would put Marco that high unless he was just that strong lol. This is a direct confirmation.

Division commander had nothing to do with experience as whitey bay had far more experience than Marco and Oden, but she didn’t get YC1 did she? Lol

Toki was aiming for Wano, her parents' hometown, though she doesn't know where she herself was born.

WB was fleeing marine pursuit. Oden, who didn't know about the scope or existence of the WG thought it strange that they didn't fight them.
WB told Oden that the government currently doesn't consider Wano as something that they govern

2 years after Oden set sail, Momonosuke was born
Oden now has a wanted poster, so Izo thought that he should consider his family and return but
Oden refused due to not having an answer yet and Toki said she was ok with it.

The WBP had grown in number and now had 5 divisions. Oden was entrusted with 2nd division.
An orphan with nowhere to go, Teach, also joined
While they continued their adventures Oden desired increasingly to return.

Sukiyaki was critically ill and wanted Oden to be his successor, however due to Oden's absence Orochi was working as a substitute while concealing his last name, Kurozumi.
Orochi promised to repay his debt to Oden and Sukiyaki while also clearing the Kurozumi name.
His grandfather committed seppuku after losing to the Kozuki family. They were formerly one of the 5 great families.
Orochi had been cooperating with an old woman, the user of the Mane Mane no Mi, making preparations to become Shogun.

The 4th year after Oden's departure they met the Roger pirates who had just defeated some marines.
Roger said that it's not fun fighting marines who are not rivals like Sengoku and Garp
Knowing that he wouldn't live much longer, he started thinking about killing WB (and he himself dying in the process)

Summary

From @Den_Den_Mushi :

Didn't you hear? Teenage Marco was stronger than the strongest Samurai in Wano.
Are you going to actually address the argument?

Did Whitebeard put Marco > Oden because of experience? Maybe, but then why didn’t more experienced pirates get the rank?

DCs are ranked based on strength, Marco > Oden was almost confirmed here. Lol

Are you going to actually address the argument or are you going to desperately flail around like when you used to get publicly owned on OJ?

Oda said:
D: About the Whitebeard Pirates, if there are pirates from the "Whitebeard ally groups", is there a possibility of one of them becoming a commander of the real Whitebeard Pirates itself? Or are the commanders all from the real Whitebeard Pirates from the beginning? P.N. amanuts

O: Ok, I'll explain a little about the Whitebeard Pirates. First, captain Whitebeard and the 16 commanders. All 16 commanders, despite numbers and ages have the same rank. All the same. Whitebeard Pirates are just split in 16 groups and the division number does not indicate strength. The 43 ally pirate ships are not any part of the Whitebeard Pirates and are usually all just scattered everywhere living their own little lives. Yet they are loyal to Whitebeard, and help him in desperate times. They are like that. In Ace's case, the Spade Pirates were destroyed, and all the members joined the Whitebeard Pirates, so he was able to become a commander.
It doesn't reflect strength.

Anyone that places Sengoku below Emperor level is tripping

Prime Sengoku has always been Garp near equal and was top 5 back then.
The fact he became FA, the fact he could pin enrage Garp easily , can handle 2df Teach and crew for a while while being old.

I've been telling fans to stop placing Sengoku way below Garp...
Sengoku even has CoC! For me
Primr : Sengoku ~ Garp or Sengoku >= Garp
MF and nkw : obviously Sengoku is stronger
