Seriously, the way the New World Pirates, And Division Commanders, and even the Marines were portrayed during Marineford was horrible. The basics Haki were just being introduced, and even the concept of "Advanced" haki, and Awakening DF had not even been invented at that point. The Division Commanders during Marineford verses WCI and going forward are leaps and bounds different.

The Division Commanders during Marineford verses WCI and going forward are leaps and bounds different.

What was wrong with the portrayal of these groups? You need to take in context. Most of the strong NW pirates were taking on vice admirals and rear admirals who are alot stronger than given credit for. The Division Commanders only look unimpressive in hindsight because we are seeing in depth characterization for the commanders of other crews. Not to mention, WB's group is an exception as its not strength based. We saw advanced haki multiple times in MF. Admirals stopping WB's quake with haki, etc. Its asinine to compare this to DB lmfaoooo
