It doesn’t when you consider the other point that I laid out, that Oden was far stronger then than Zoro is now, and that Kaido was far weaker then than he is now. So any kind of comparison between the two at this point is nothing more than fanboy bullshit, which was precisely what the reaction on this thread was predicated by.

You are right Oden is not Zoro. Oden never forged a black blade while Zoro will.

Could somebody fucking tell me why in the fuck Oden himself used 5 years to make the loyal citizens that would've fought for him at the battlefront, only to jump into an army with a squad of 10 dude's, which 6 of them are not relevant anyways?

I fail to see the greater picture in Oda's superb writing, tbh.

I'm just wondering what this "justification" for dancing naked for 5 years was.

-How can Oden trusting Orochi, (who he had already acknowledged to be scummy trash), be justified? And not just for a 1 time thing, but trusting him for half a decade!

-How can the total abandonment of the people of Wano and the country's wellbeing be justified? Wano citizens died at the hands of Orochi due to Oden's neglect of them.

-How can the death of AN UNNAMED CHARACTER be the justification for all of this drama this chapter if all of the prior atrocities got no response for the entire 5 years?

Even if the writing and characters this arc are utterly horrendous, at least there are cool panels. That one with the scabbards on the cliff looks awesome.

Prevent more casualties? If you refused to work in the mines you AND your family were executed. Orochi wasn't a dude who appeared every now and then to stir trouble, he was literally the ruler. The country had been dragged to hell. And not only did Oden not secretly have a back up plan, but he danced naked in the streets like clown when he was literally the only person in the country that could've stopped it, spitting in the faces of the citizens relying on him.

Just like Kaido fandom .... I advise the Mihawk fan again to be careful about the bullshit and wait for some fucking feat before giving some one the highest rank ... at least wait for a +YC2 level feat ....
