I do appreciate the fact that kawamatsu wasn't the only one that looked after hiyori after oden and tokis death
She at least had 2 of them that deeply cares and watched over her. Which makes me feel better

To be fair to Ashura everyone seemed to have disappeared so there's no reason for him to have specifically tried to find Hiyori. Even Denjiro only found he by chance.

This should be the last chapter in the flashback. Oden is dead, Scabbards have already been sent to the future, Denjiro is revealed to be Kyoshiro. There's really nothing more to show, unless Oda wants to delve into Kyoshiro's working under Orochi for some reason.
