There's even inconsistencies with the information Kanjuro provides since he never mentions once for the entire two weeks that the strawhats and alliance are at Amigasa yet that would ensure Kaido just flies there and obliterates them

All he gets are those bird messages and he has to believe them, which he does btw. Yet he's also quite rational and says that thinking about it, it really is surreal and almost unbelievable that Kanjuro and the scabbards are back again after 20 years.

Oh boy, woke up to spoilers only for the traitor to be revealed... as the guy everyone thought it was... with the reason everyone correctly guessed with being part of the persecuted clan. Oh well at least the explanation for it makes sense with the whole theater bit. Orochi knew a lot more than he let on. I guess I can't be disappointed. The OP fandom is just really good at predictions plus the whole Zou event really narrowed down the candidates to begin with.
