There’s no way he WON’T play a major role in the final stretch...think what @Sadistic Senpai is mostly saying is that Oda’s criminal underutilization of him to this point has rendered him largely redundant, just a bunch of noise like OOOOH HE’S POWERFUL AND MYSTERIOUS, which is fine for a while but gets tiresome after 20 or so years with virtually no payoff.

100000% agreed, one of my biggest issues with One Piece is underwhelming payoff. Oda loves to blow things extremely out of proportion which end up being lackluster. Recently we had Oden being a silhouette and how that was just unnecessarily building hype and turned out to be pointless. Same as Green Bull who is a silhouette for most likely no reason, he could've been revealed ages ago.

Dragon though... I got faith in. That backstory better be Noland levels of greatness.
