Can someone explain to me why Page One appearing after 10 or more days from his eventual defeat would be worse than Kamazou showing in Udon 2 days after being defeated - by a far more letal fighter according to the same people- or Holdem being awake after a Red Hawk?
Nothing suggest Page One wasn't defeated, unless you trust toei completely and think Batman is that strong of course

Plus Luffy ask Jimbei by his side over Zoro, so Idk why you still trying mate when Zoro still taking heavy Ls while Sanji actually doing more shit than him in his 'own arc' XD.

On Carrot: to me it's pretty clear Oda wanted a fanservice character as "part" of the crew. Pretty much get more girl fans and kawaii crowd into One Piece.

But the fact that she's tagging along for all these arcs, with Luffy making 0 mentions of her being a crewmate, means she probably won't be there to go to Raftel, but just there for the Yonko saga.
