I am talking about you saying Jack Facing Luffy and getting a one serious hit from Luffy and Getting Blown away (but not knocked out) which I am calling it Blueno treatment since I was talking about Enies Lobby Parallels
Ohhh
That's NOT BLUENO treatment
That's the Rayleigh - Elephant treatment!
and yeah... he will be FAR from being knocked out... he will get damaged.... but that's just like how Red Hawk to Doflamingo was only the starting punch for that battle LOL
The point of Luffy doing that is simple:
1- By damaging Jack in his BASE FORM... through Ryuu... it means Luffy now is able to fight strong guys WITHOUT resorting to his trump card... gear 4th which is limited in time
2- It's a cool way to recall the "Rayleigh - Elephant" moment by Luffy mimicking it.... As Rayleigh showcased his observation haki dodging the trunk... and his advanced armament Ryuu blasting it...
so it would be fun if Jack who looks barbaric and charges without thinking in his Mammoth form at Luffy.... where Luffy use future sight to dodge is trunk.... Then, uses Ryuu to blast Jack away.... with Jack getting hurt from the attack...
But again... if the battle continues... he surely will get the Blueno treatment... but it will not continue because Jack is reserved for Inu/Neku
But Oda can make use of Luffy doing that to showcase how much he has grown... WITHOUT eleminating an enemy who is BUILT for another character to shine against like Neku/Inu.... Secondly, it's a fun way for Luffy to deliver on his promise during Zou wen he said "I promise you that I will give him a hard punch for you" after hearing the story of Jack using Poison when he defeated the minks...
And lastly, Oda LOVES drawing parallels... So I wouldn't be surprised if Oda wants to do that with the Teacher and student, Rayleigh and Luffy and the Mammoth and elephant
