He wasn't seen in the manga though. Did we even see him in the anime? Why would Oda hide him like that?

It's not real, as well as the Jack/law BS. The only thing that might be legit is the 5CH spoiler that

- Says Luffy/Kidd and crews enter the "mansion" (probably the skull)
- The whole King telling the Tobi Roppo to find Kaido's son. If they do, they are allowed to challenge the All-Stars.
- Kaido wants this so he can show them off to BM for entertainment
- The numbers brought Kaido a gift.


That's pretty much it, and we don't even know if that is legit and it sounds pretty realistic

-The Strawhats and Kid Pirates started invading Kaido's palace.
-If a Flying Six member brings back Kaido's son, he gets to challenge the All-Stars.
-The challenge is supposedly gonna happen before BigMom's eyes, that's why Kaido summoned them, he wants to show them off.
-If a flying six wins over an all-star he takes his place.
-We see BigMom in a Kimono as she joins Kaido in the festival.
-The Numbers have prepared an important gift for Kaido.
-Kanjuro is looking for Hiyori instead of going to Onigashima.
