The best argument that is possible to make is the one that Apoo isn't YC material, but that's still too speculative. For all we know he might very well be, regardless he is not getting up in all likelihood, hence there's no reason to fuss onto it too hard.

Who gives a fuck if Zoro was hit with a slash? What does that have to do with Apoo accumulating damage and fatigue, and therefore Zoro's attack cannot be considered a one shot?

A one shot is what Kaido did to Luffy. Clean one hit on an opponent who suffered no damage up until that point.

Did you read my comment? A one shot from a punch or a kick is a clear sign of being much stronger than your enemy. A one shot with a sword is not. Because you can one shot people with swords who are much stronger than you, because the damage is higher with swords than blunt force. It's like if ussope would shot with a pistol into mihawks head and you would say Ussope one shoted Mihawk...it doesn't have the same impact and meaning.

Why is this always brought up as something big? Everyone who uses sword is gonna win his figth with 1 clean hit. Zoro's hardest fight ever, Mihawk, will also and in a "one shot". It doesn't have the same meaning as someone one shoting someone with a punch or a kick.
