For what we know he said that since the word "heal" doesnt appear in those spoilers. If Chopper or someone explained about the virus and they used the word "heal/healing", the spoiler provider would tell this info.
So for now as we don't have more info, Marco is not healing anyone.
Maybe the chapter when comes out will show us the word healing and you will be right about him healing them (not Apoo since he wasn't covered in it).
