Kaido's moveset is big, it's like making Zoro's onigiri super flashy and then make his stronger moves look like shit, Kaido is going to look crazy good when he starts to use better moves and haki.
Yeah but initially they didn't even give the blitzing thing to divine thunder. It is similar to shi shi son even then they depict as a normal attack

Visually roof top is going to be amazing no doubt

doubt it. Tu has nearly never drawn zoro if you check historically lol
He did draw some Zoro stuff for Zoro vs Hawkins and did a neat scene with Zoro doing some sumo stuff alongside Luffy. Those occurred in early Wano though.

First half of the episode was solid but was very much heavily dependent on direction and animation was very limited.

The second half was a step up. Despite the Sanji filler stuff, I think the actual content and direction of the filler scene worked pretty well, and it allowed the rooftop stuff in the second half of the episode to be really solid and decently paced.

The highlight animation wise was definitely Zoro and Kamazou attacking Kaido, and even though still limited, the second half did move more and better than the first half.

Overall, I'd still say its a pretty solid episode with a much stronger second half than first.

Also, next week we're back to cinema.

Going frame by frame and only Zoro's attack (green) connects with Kaido's neck, what did Killer do?

By the looks of it, going frame by frame as well, I think the implication is that they both struck Kaido in the same spot.

Welp it's confirmed, Zoro alone almost crushed Kaido's throat.

Killer's attack

Killer and Zoro's

Only Zoro's attack. A new agenda is born. :steef:
I'd say that more shows they both attacked the same spot.

The Sanji scene makes much more sense now

During 1003 Sanji is shown running, but we can't tell what he is doing

Those female Gifters suddenly stopped threatning him and started feeling sorry for him without explanation

In 1005 Black Maria says Sanji defeated all the men there with ease, but since he can't hit her, he wouldn't be able to escape

And now recently in the manga, Sanji leads the geisha from the Pleasure hall, the place Black Maria used to rule over

Looks like Toei will go all out for that Robin scene, that fight will look sick

They did, but the color scheme tells us that killer did the blue attack while Zoro did the green one, the X around kaido and on his neck is from Zoro. That was impossible to see in the manga.
Now the auras are justified.

It also makes sense when you consider what Black Maria says about Sanji being the sort of guy who uses violence to dominate women, which Sanji rejects, which directly ties into the sort of character Queen is, who does use violence to dominate women.

The actual attack colours for both in that cut were shown to be blue. So yeah, it was still a team effort.

The episode was HILARIOUS.. LOL

Zoro knows Ryou DAMNNN has he been using it or training it when and where.. i can only assume he knew it from Mihawk against shows you his Coa prowess..

Also this episode kinda proves that Luffy's instant detection CoO sucks.. like he admitted initially... its telling coz Rayleigh did say Haki is honed during battle.. zoro fighting monkey's everyday.. and sanji running from Okama's everyday.. it makes sense why Luffy's fundamental CoO skills are a bit lacking

the sanji sequence was unexpected SOOO FRIGGIN HILARIOUS, i get that they are setting it up to be a big character moment for him.. him throwing fire around was dope and tells you sanji could have broken free whenever he wanted to but he couldn't risk hurting Black Maria in the process

the rest of the episode the main section was dope too... Zoro and Killer's moment was sick... actually a very good episode

Major point of detraction from this episode was Shingaki's art. The close ups were mostly fine but body shots and groups for the most part were just not great.

The animation in the second half picked up a surprising amount thankfully, and the humour was really well executed, making it definitely the more enjoyable of the two parts.

First half had some nice bits of direction but still felt generally a bit lacking with Shingaki's art really not helping.
