Really really solid episode.

The second half in particular with the Sanji stuff was really good.

Was really happy they actually bothered to properly recomposite the WCI flashbacks. A lot of the time they don't(you can tell because the line work is often not black and looks desaturated), but it worked really well here.

Yen BM did a good job with Sanji's attack. The compositing was nice. Feel like the storyboard was a little iffy in places, but I think it was a definite improvement from Sanji's first hell memories.

Tomita's stuff for Zoro vs King was nice. It wasn't particularly special, but it was pretty competent. I think it was holding together better than Yen's stuff.

Next episode looks okay, but its really 1060 and 1061 that look like they could be great. No idea about 1062 yet.

1061 will probably have some absolutely balls to the wall action that will divide the fanbase.

What ep he gonna do?
No idea, but he has been drawing a lot of Zoro.

Hell, someone did literally link tweet from his showing some fan animation for Zoro. He might be on 1062 storyboarding the finale but I don't know.

Someone is slaty:milaugh:
Just getting sick of his antics. Who waits for an episode of a character they don't like, just to then downplay the character and try to derail the topic from the character? Like I said, two can play it that game.

The next episodes of Zoro, I'll do nothing but complain that it's not IFJ yet, I want IFJ, and downplay every single damn action move just to show him how it feels.

Just to put the pacing of the OP anime into perspective again:

The Wano arc alone has now 167 episodes (started with 890 and now we're at 1057).

That's just utterly stupid and nobody can justify that shit.

The 2011 HxH anime covered way over 300 manga chapters and was made into one of the best adaptations of all time - all it took were 148 episodes.

That's how good pacing looks like.

Here in Wano we're sitting at 121 manga chapters (chapters 910-1031) that took 167 episodes to get covered.

Ridiculous, really.

Sad thing is that it's not even the worst stretch in OP history if we look back at the Dressrosa adaptation.

Problem with weekly anime.

weekly fillers like Naruto>Horrendous pacing

Apples and oranges, my guy
One is and has been a weekly anime since its inception
The other was an adaptation of a set number of arcs (that were finished by the time it aired)
