This is a weak episode as expected.

Not expecting this fight to heat up till 1060. Next episode looks like it will be a step up over this episode based on the NEP, but thats not saying a lot.

Some of Big Mum vs Kid and Law was nice.

Zoro vs King final sucked in the manga, it will suck in the anime too due to how poorly and late King's race ability are laid out, better animation isn't gonna change that unless toei changes the entire concept of King's race ability.

Sanji vs Queen might turn out good tho with how most of that fight was handled, content wise that chapter needed more extension of Queen's vinsmoke abilities as they are revealed too late, if Toei can provide it for that chapter, very good.

The director for that Sanji vs Queen episode is well known for expanding on action content.

Why those episodes?

I would think 1013 and 1026 would be significantly better references since Ryota Nakamura is the episode director and he is known for changing content and storyboards to create his own anime unique action scenes.

1026 in particular is particularly good because Tu Yong Ce actually worked pretty extensively on 1026.
